‘Saffron flag at Red Fort’: Bommai backs Eshwarappa; Cong demands sedition case

Leader of Opposition in Karnataka Legislative Assembly Siddaramaiah has said that a sedition case should be filed against the Minister for Rural Development and Panchayat Raj K S Eshwarappa for his purported claim of hoisting a saffron flag at the Red Fort. Pandemonium prevailed in the Karnataka Assembly on Wednesday over the BJP minister’s statement that the saffron flag could become the national flag in the future and would then be hoisted at the Red Fort. Meanwhile, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said that his colleague has not "legally committed any mistake” and hence, no action can be taken against him. Watch the video for more.
