  • India and China have reached an agreement to disengage from the northern and southern banks of Pangong Lake in Eastern Ladakh. Meanwhile, the opposition has slammed the government and accused it of ceding territory to the Chinese. So what does the disengagement at the LAC mean for India? Aditi Prasad speaks to Hindustan Times’ executive editor Shishir Gupta to decode the implications of the disengagement.
