‘Yes, it’s possible’: Cyber security expert on China hand in Mumbai outage

- A report by a US firm has claimed that Chinese hackers were behind the Mumbai power outage in October 2020. While China has rejected the allegations, experts suggest that cyber sabotage is a strategy that has been used by Beijing in the past against many countries including Taiwan and the US. Speaking to Hindustan Times’ Aditi Prasad, Beenu Arora, CEO of Cyble Cyber Security, said that cyber warfare is among the easiest way to target adversaries and governments should take some serious steps to understand the threat and tackle it better.
