After 'namaz before Hindus' comment, Waqar Younis apologises amid backlash

Former Pakistan pacer Waqar Younis on Wednesday apologised for his 'namaz' comment which disappointed sports fans across the globe following Pakistan's game against India in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2021. In a tweet, Waqar said it was an 'unintentional mistake' in the 'heat of the moment'. His comment on Mohammad Rizwan offering namaz during the drinks break in the India-Pakistan game in the ICC T20 World Cup on Sunday had not gone down well with former cricketers as well as Pakistan fans.
