Men’s Hockey World Cup 2018: Security beefed up in Bhubaneswar

Ahead of the Men's Hockey World Cup 2018 security was beefed up outside Kalinga Stadium in Odisha's Bhubaneswar on Tuesday. Heavy deployment of police personnel was seen guarding the stadium premises. Meanwhile, fans were seen excited lining up in queues to get tickets of the Hockey tournament. Anup Sahu, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar said, “We have security outside the stadium and we also we are ensuring that the entry to the stadium will be done with thorough checking.” The preparations for the 14th edition of Men's Hockey World Cup are in full swing. The tournament is slated to be held from November 28 to December 16 in Odisha.
