IPL 2020 | ‘Amazed with what I’ve seen’: Delhi Capitals bowling coach Ryan Harris

Australia's Ryan Harris joined Delhi Capitals as Bowling Coach ahead of IPL 2020. The former Australian pacer said he was 'impressed' after watching the players train. Harris said, “I have heard a lot of good things about Delhi Capitals. I've spent a fair bit of time in the IPL, both playing and as a coach. I've got a bad memory, trying to remember everyone's names. It's going to be nice to sit with them and talk about their cricket. I am not someone who can sit still for very long. To watch the boys train has been fantastic. I know that the boys haven't been able to train. Their work ethic is unbelievable. Ponting is a guy who presented me with my baggy green cap. To work with him is very satisfying for me. I've been coaching for a few years now, but there's still so much to learn. Loved playing with him and now I get to work and coach with him. Today was just a session to get to know them better. The nitty-gritty stuff will come in a week or two. At the moment it's just nice to see and understand their plans. Their execution and the way they bowled is a really good start.”
