Chennai Super Kings beat Mumbai Indians by 20 runs as IPL 2021 began its second phase in the UAE. With Ruturaj Gaikwad’s unbeaten 58-ball 88, CSK posted a total of 156/6 in 20 overs. Gaikwad lifted the Chennai Super Kings from a precarious 7/3 to 156/6. Chasing 157, MI too were off to a poor start as they slipped to 37 for three in the sixth over.
