‘IPL 2021 to go ahead with restrictions in Mumbai’: Nawab Malik confirms

• Maharashtra cabinet minister Nawab Malik has confirmed that IPL matches will take place in Mumbai but with several restrictions. This comes a day after the state imposed several restrictions due to the high increase in Covid cases. ‘The permission has been given for the matches with restrictions; the crowd would not be allowed to enter the stadiums. Whoever is participating in the IPL, would have to stay at one place in isolation,’ Malik said. Wankhede Stadium is set to host 10 IPL games this season from April 10-25.
