IPL 2021: Will Covid surge affect tournament? BCCI vice-president answers

BCCI vice-president spoke on the Covid tension ahead of IPL 2021. Multiple cases of infection have been reported among players and staff ahead of IPL. The tournament is set to begin on April 9 with clash between Mumbai & Bengaluru. Delhi's Axar Patel, Bengaluru's Devdutt Padikkal have been infected so far. Some ground staff at Mumbai's Wankhede stadium also tested positive. “Covid-19 cases are increasing, so BCCI has taken all precautions for IPL. Only 6 venues have been kept for the tournament, bio-bubble has been created and members of the squad have also been increased. The tournament will go on without any audience,” said BCCI vice-president Rajiv Shukla. Watch the full video for more.
