Updated on Mar 15, 2017 01:19 pm IST
Veteran skipper Sourav Ganguly was present at the launch of former Australian skipper Michael Clarke's autobiography 'My Story' in Kolkata on Tuesday. Ganguly spoke on the 'Monkeygate' chapter that had created furore in the world of Cricket a decade ago. While talking about the atmosphere in a dressing room, the former cricketer said, “Sometimes it's important to let the world know what the true fact is, although I guarantee you, the 'Monkeygate' chapter will not have its true picture in the book.” “Only a 'Sardarji' will know what Harbhajan tried to say.” he added. The issue was raised during the 2007-08 India-Australia second Test when bowler Harbhajan Singh allegedly called Symonds a 'monkey'.
