Rahi Sarnobat became the first Indian woman to claim gold at the Asian Games when she beat Thailand's Naphaswan Yangpaiboon in 25m pistol final after a double shoot off. Both Rahi and Yangpaiboon shot four out of five shots in the first shoot-off but the Indian prevailed over her opponent by missing one less in the second round. Rahi, 27, who is making a comeback after injury says that the medal is very special for her and the quality and standard of athletes that are coming through means that she has to be on her toes at all times.
