Top officials of United States President Joe Biden heaped praises on India’s Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, with one of them even calling him the “architect of the modern India-US relations”. “I have also known (Jaishankar) for a long time over many capacities, and who I can also say, he is the architect of modern US-India relations. We would not be in the strong place that we are today, but for the external affairs minister, your leadership,” Richard Verma, Deputy U.S. Secretary of State said at an event hosted in honour of EAM Jaishankar.
