On New Year, Akhilesh Yadav promised 300 units of free electricity to households. The former UP CM also promised free electricity for irrigation purposes, saying '2022 will be a new year with new light for a new Uttar Pradesh'. Just a few hours later, Yogi Adityanath slammed Samajwadi Party. Hitting out at Akhilesh Yadav, the UP CM said 'forget free electricity, Samajwadi Party didn't even ensure power supply'. Yogi said that, unlike other parties, BJP has ensured electricity for all sections of society.
