Iran’s foreign minister Abbas Araghchi has publicly questioned how “serious” Washington really is about diplomacy after the U.S. flew its top Middle East commander into the region while indirect nuclear talks were underway. Saying Tehran “firmly opposed” any military figure being tied to the negotiations, Araghchi insists missiles and defence are off the table and warns that ongoing sanctions and warship deployments undermine trust.
