At least 62 dead in Indonesia tsunami triggered by volcanic eruption

A tsunami apparently caused by an island volcano hit the coast at Indonesia's Sunda Strait. At least 43 people were killed and around 600 people have been reported injured. Bodies have been recovered from the rubble. The tsunami sent a wall of water some 65 feet (20 metres) inland damaging numerous properties. Scientists said it could have been caused by undersea landslides from the eruption of a volcanic island. The worst affected area was the Pandeglang region of Banten province in Java.
