The US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has ordered another extension of the Dwight D. Eisenhower aircraft carrier in the Red Sea days after Houthis claimed two attacks on the warship. A US defense official told Al Arabiya English that nuclear-powered Eisenhower has had its deployment extended for an extra month amid an increase in the rate of Houthi attacks in the Middle East. Meanwhile, at least nine Yemeni employees of United Nations agencies have been detained by Yemen's Houthi rebels on June 7.
