'Don't play with fire': Xi tells Biden over phone call amid tensions over Taiwan

- Amid tensions over Taiwan, US President Joe Biden and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping held "candid" over the phone on Thursday. According to Chinese state media, Xi warned Biden not to "play with fire" on the issue of Taiwan. The Chinese President also told Biden that Beijing firmly opposes Taiwan's independence and external interference. However, the White House readout said that Biden told Xi that US policy on Taiwan had not changed. Tensions spiked between both countries over House of Representative Speaker Nancy Pelosi's planned trip to Taipei next month. Watch this video to know more.
