USA's new EAGLE Act, and Indians: How it may help immigrants | Explained

A bipartisan legislation was re-introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives on 03 June to eliminate the per-country cap on employment-based green card. The new law called the EAGLE Act 2021, if cleared by the Senate seeks to make things easier for a lot of Indian professionals and their family members. Most of the Indians who wish to immigrate to the country often have to wait for years to get their green card. Currently, there is a 7% per-country limit on Visa issuance by the United States.
