Giant murals are part of Rio’s Olympic facelift

With only three days to go until the opening ceremony of the Rio 2016 Olympics, the host city is adorned with graffiti and banners welcoming athletes and visitors to the Games. The newly remodelled port area is displaying a huge mural covering a 32,000 square foot wall called 'Ethnicities' featuring faces of indigenous people from across the world. The mural by Brazilian street artist Eduardo Kobra is the largest in the world and was inspired by the Olympic rings that represents the five continents of the world that come together to compete in the Games.
