How a 680-year-old family business of glazed tile production became environmentally friendly

The Su Family of Taiyuan city, Shanxi Province has been producing glazed tiles for over 680 years in China. In 2006, the glazed tile techniques pioneered by the Su family were certified as a national-level intangible cultural heritage. Considering the rise in pollution levels, Su WangSheng, the youngest son of Su YongJun has now decided to move from mass production to high-end, custom craftsmanship.
