India delivered a strong rebuttal to Pakistan at the United Nations Security Council, condemning what it called Pakistan’s “delusional tirades” over Kashmir. Citing historical atrocities, India’s envoy Parvathaneni Harish accused Pakistan of a “systematic genocide” during the 1971 Operation Searchlight, referencing the mass rape and killing of Bengali civilians. India also highlighted recent Pakistani air strikes on its own territory and urged Pakistan to address its economic crisis, military dominance, and human rights abuses, rather than spreading propaganda about Kashmir.
