Pak cries foul as UN names Makki global terrorist; China defends Islamabad

Pakistan has cried foul after UN blacklisted and named Let terrorist Abdul Rehman Makki as a 'global terrorist.' This after China finally lifted its 'technical hold' on the plea by India and the U.S. Pakistan foreign office in a statement said, “In any case, he has been convicted by a Pakistani court already. Pakistan is a victim of terrorism and supports counter-terrorism efforts at international level including at the United Nations and other multilateral forum.” China on the other hand, defended its decision and praised Pakistan.
