- Pakistan's army is gearing up to send troops to Qatar by the end of the year. Pak cabinet has approved the signing of an agreement between Qatar and Pak Army to provide security for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022. This is the first time that the mega event is being held in the Gulf country. Pak cabinet’s nod came after the Joint Staff Headquarters (JSHQ) proposed the signing of the agreement and the foreign ministry as well as the Directorate General of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) expressed no objections to it. The agreement is likely to be signed during Pak PM Shahbaz Sharif’s visit to Qatar. Watch this video for more information.
