Pakistan's Gulf 'friends' unwilling to help cash-strapped nation for IMF deal?

Cash-strapped Pakistan is still awaiting nod from Gulf states to unlock the IMF bailout programme. According to The News, Pakistan is desperately looking towards its friends in the Gulf, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Qatar, who had promised to bridge the financing gap as the IMF seeks confirmation before approving the ninth review. Quoting an official, The News reports that Pakistan has no options but to wait and pray for a confirmation from its bilateral partners.
