Pro-Putin govt, Ruble currency: How Russia aims to annex Ukraine regions

Russia is focused on cementing military & political control over the Ukrainian territory it has taken so far. The Kremlin is installing occupation govts, ordering locals to use rubles for transactions. Though far short of Putin’s aims of ousting Zelensky, latest efforts pose a new obstacle for already-stalled peace talks. In Berdyansk, Moscow has installed local governments in charge of bringing back a semblance of normal life. Russian forces took control of Berdyansk in the first days of the Ukraine invasion launched in February. Meanwhile, the Kremlin is confident Russian forces will at least conquer the entire Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Watch the full video for more.
