Putin, after Trump-Zelensky call, says Russia fights for peace, boasts $2B in enemy losses

In his first public remarks following the a phone call between U.S. president Donald Trump and Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared that Moscow is fighting for a "peaceful and secure future" and claimed that Russian drones have destroyed over $2 billion in enemy equipment since the start of the conflict.
