Putin set to bag big win in this European nation amid Ukraine War? | Czech polls

A pivotal election in the Czech Republic on October 3–4 could deliver a major blow to Ukraine, with populist billionaire Andrej Babiš projected to defeat the pro-Western coalition led by Prime Minister Petr Fiala. Babiš, leader of the ANO movement, has aligned himself with Hungary’s Viktor Orbán and Slovakia’s Robert Fico, both seen as pro-Putin and resistant to EU funding for Ukraine. A victory for Babiš would tilt Prague closer to Moscow, halt aid shipments such as the 3.5 million artillery shells already sent to Kyiv, and strengthen a pro-Russia bloc within the European Union.
