It's been 11 days since rumours started buzzing on social media that Valery Gerasimov, Russian Army's Chief of General Staff and Putin's top war commander, could be killed in Ukrainian strikes on Crimea. Yet, Russia has not commented on the unconfirmed reports. The speculations began after a Twitter user shared a picture that claimed that Gerasimov was at the Russian headquarters in Sevastopol when the attack took place on Jan 5.
