Russia is considering challenging U.S. President Joe Biden's decision to nominate Indian-origin Ajaj Banga as the next head of the World Bank. Roman Marshavin, Moscow's top representative at the bank, told the news agency Reuters that "listings of potential candidates and consultations are still ongoing." Remember, Russia still remains a voting member of the World Bank, although the bank halted all programs in Russia and Belarus last March after Kremlin invaded Ukraine.
