Putin’s ultimatum to Ukraine, Kyiv aims for peace; Russia destroys Howitzers

Russia has now issued a fresh ultimatum to Ukraine to achieve its war goals ahead of the new year. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov asked Kyiv to fulfil Moscow's proposals, including that of surrendering territories under Russian control or else the Russian Army will deal with the issue. Meanwhile, Ukraine is readying to hold a peace summit in February at the United Nations. On the war front, Russian forces destroyed U.S.-made M777 Howitzers that Ukrainians used to shell Donetsk.
