Rome’s residents fear new lights may dim city’s romance

Thousands of street bulbs in the Italian capital are being replaced with cost-effective and environmentally friendly LED lights, but not all residents are happy about the change. They changed the lights overnight. With this, Rome will save a $27.7 million on consumption costs in a year. But some Romans feel that it will take away the romantic charm of the city.
