‘Selfish move’: South Korea’s President Moon Jae-in after Japan’s trade decision

South Korea's President Moon Jae-in on Friday said Japan's trade move of downgrading Korea's trade status is a 'selfish' act. The South Korean president made the comments ahead of an emergency Cabinet meeting to discuss the Japanese measures. Moon said South Korea is ready to impose unspecified countermeasures and warned that Japan will be “held accountable for what will unfold going forward.
