Sharia laws in Pak soon? Sharif govt buckles under pressure, announces big move

Pakistan's Finance Minister Ishaq Dar announced that Shehbaz Sharif government would withdraw its appeals against Federal Shariat Court’s (FSC) decision regarding the interest-free banking system. The FSC had declared that the prohibition of Riba (interest) was absolute in all its forms according to the injunctions of Islam and in accordance with the Holy Quran and Sunnah. In its April decision, the FSC had said that Riba should be eliminated from the country in five years. Watch this video for more details.
