Taliban will ‘snub Pak, back TTP’ | U.S. report puts Sharif govt in a fix amid economic woes

Afghanistan’s Taliban rulers are unlikely to discontinue supporting TTP. According to a report released by the United States Institute of Peace (USIP), the Afghan Taliban remain very supportive of TTP. The U.S. report says that even though Pakistan's forces continue to come under TTP attacks, the economic troubles of the country prevent Islamabad from launching a major offensive against Pakistani Taliban.
