The Hinodeyu public bath in Tokyo is offering classes on comedy and gaming as it tries to revive the dying tradition of communal bathing. It is a dying tradition in Japan and bathrooms are coming up with new ideas to attract customers. Classes offered at the Hinodeyu public bath are aimed at a younger audience. An admission ticket costs 460 Yen (INR 266). Tokyo once had over 2600 bathhouses but there's been a gradual decline in using the traditional sento. The Hinodeyu public bath has been operated by the same family since 1939. 500+ people would bath there daily in its heyday.
