US celebrity chef Anthony Bourdain commits suicide in France

US celebrity chef and TV personality Anthony Bourdain has committed suicide. The 61-year-old host of CNN's food-and-travel-focused “Parts Unknown” series was found dead in his hotel room in France's Strasbourg on June 8. Confirming the death, CNN said Bourdain was found unresponsive on Friday morning by friend and chef Eric Ripert. He was in France working on an upcoming episode of his programme.
