Watch | Historic performance by pianist on Arctic Ocean

World famous pianist and composer, Ludovico Einaudi, gave a moving performance in the middle of the Arctic Ocean in support of Greenpeace's push for protection against the Arctic.

Einaudi sat at his piano on a floating platform with a backdrop of the Wahlenbergbreen glacier of Svalbard, Norway. The iceberg around him thunders down the ocean.

Greenpeace describes the video as the acclaimed Italian artist adding “his voice to those of eight million people from across the world demanding protection for the Arctic.”
