Updated on Sept 21, 2016 11:29 am IST
A humpback whale has swum free after beaching itself in shallow water in Moreton Bay in the Australian state of Queensland. The 12-metre whale was entangled in a fishing net after it came very close to the beach in just about one-metre water. Marine Parks rangers had to be called for help. The humpback swam out with the help of the rising tide soon after the net was cut.
