This is her way of expressing her thoughts about the Palestinian cause! With paper cone filled with henna, Fatima al-Ghoul, a 36-year-old artist from Gaza, has brought henna art, a traditional body art form on canvas to create stunning paintings of Palestinian landscapes and historically important sites. She manages to sell her paintings for $500-$2000, even though it's difficult to work under power cuts in the conflict zone. Also, it is a struggle to get materials to paint. However, it is Fatima's desire to have an exhibition of her paintings showcasing the challenging living conditions of Palestinians.
