Why China sent ‘wolf warrior’ diplomat to US? Qin Gang arrives in Washington

• A close confidante of Chinese President Xi Jingping- Qin Gang has reached Washington as China’s new ambassador to the United States. Ganga is taking up the role at a time when ties between China and the US are at a low. The new ambassador has vowed to bring the ties ‘back on track’. US & China have disagreed recently on a range of issues including trade, human rights, cybersecurity and origins of Covid pandemic.
