'Wicked Liberian At Embassy In U.S...': Sole African Nation's U-turn After Backing Israel At UN

In a major diplomatic blow to Israel amid its war in Gaza, the sole African nation that voted in its favour last week at the UN General Assembly has decided to cancel its vote. Liberian president said that the decision was against the government's wish and that the vote was changed by a "wicked Liberian at the embassy in Washington." The resolution for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza last week was passed with an overwhelming majority of 153 votes. 10 nations including Liberia had voted against it, while 23 abstained.
