Conservative podcaster Candace Owens and Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk successfully conducted their private meeting, which was scheduled for December 15. Following the meeting, they put out individual posts, with Owens' post highlighting what transpired behind closed doors. Owens and Kirk had locked horns in public in the last few days over Charlie Kirk's assassination.

The 31-year-old TPUSA founder was fatally shot when attending an event at the Utah Valley University on September 10, and Owens, a former TPUSA member, has had numerous conspiracy theories since. She's alleged Israeli involvement, pointed at TPUSA leadership, and even hinted at the US military being involved, all without providing any proof.

Charlie's widow, Erika, addressed Owens directly during an interview with CBS News, asking her to ‘stop’ spreading conspiracy theories. She expressed fear that this might taint the jury pool in Tyler Robinson's hearing. Robinson is the 22-year-old Utah native authorities have charged in Charlie Kirk's killing. Widow Erika also disputed Owens' theory that Kirk had texted people he was going to be murdered, the day before his shooting. She claimed to have his phone and said no such messages exist. However, Owens, who's been hitting back at Erika on her own podcast, threw down the gauntlet, saying that TPUSA spokesperson Andrew Kolvet had shared these messages with her. Owens went on to allege that either Kolvet or Erika Kirk was lying.
