Candace Owens, the conservative podcaster, has responded to the Turning Point USA challenge. TPUSA invited Owens to appear on The Charlie Kirk Show after the former organization member accused the leadership of ‘betraying’ Kirk.
Owens has had a lot of theories in the wake of TPUSA founder, Kirk's, assassination on September 10, and some of them have alleged a TPUSA role in the same. Notably, she's not backed up these claims with any proof.
Blake Neff, on today's episode of The Charlie Kirk show addressed Owens' many theories and said: “Ever since Charlie's murder, Candace Owens has leveled a flood of allegations against people at Turning Point USA, Turning Point Action, and those who work for this show. She has made them against some of Charlie's closest friends and most dedicated employees. Charlie would not allow someone to spread lies about the people closest to him with impunity, and he would feel ashamed if others were defending his friends while he never did so himself.”

Extending the challenge to Owens, he added, “If Candace is available, we would sincerely welcome her participation in that live stream at our studio here in Phoenix. At this point, we believe the ball is back in her court. Our motivation for doing this is not out of any obligation to Candace. It is about honoring Charlie.”

{{/usCountry}}Owens responded to TPUSA's Neff's challenge on her own podcast. She noted that TPUSA had finally moved to ‘respond’ to her. Owens added that they'd finally decided to extend an ‘invitation or challenge’ to her, and noted that she accepted it.
“I accept,” Owens said, adding that all she'd ever asked for were sensible answers to questions about what happened on September 10, the day Kirk was shot. She called the entire situation a ‘major win’.
In another snippet from the same episode, Owens appeared to address the challenge from TPUSA and say, “You can pick the place. You can pick the time. I say we do it tomorrow.”
She further added, “We don't need to plan for this... I want it to be authentic. You can take the money. We can raise money live.”
While Owens might now engage directly with TPUSA over Kirk's death, authorities already have the shooting suspect – 22-year-old Utah native Tyler Robinson – in custody, and he's been charged with murder in the case.
