A self-styled investigator attempted to find out more about Tommaso Cioni's band amid the ongoing search for Nancy Guthrie. Jonathan Lee Riches or JLR has been tracking the case since the 84-year-old was reported missing on February 1.

While JLR was in Tucson towards the start, he had gone away for a bit, but is now back on the ground. He announced on X he was headed to downtown Tucson to show where Tommaso and his bandmates played music.

“I'm going club hopping soon on YouTube LIVE showing you where Tommaso Cioni's band & Derrick Callella's bands played music in downtown Tucson. Stay tuned! Where's Nancy Guthrie?,” the self-styled investigator had written.

JLR's post comes as it has been over six months since the mother of TODAY show host Savannah Guthrie was reported missing. While authorities believe she was taken from her Catalina Foothills home near Tucson, Arizona, they have not publicly named a suspect yet. Tommaso Cioni, in the meanwhile, has been subjected to a fair amount of speculation, along with his wife Annie Guthrie, since they're among the last people to have seen Nancy before she was reported missing.

The octogenarian reportedly had dinner with her daughter, Savannah's sister, Annie, the night before she was reported missing and Tommaso then dropped her home in their car. Notably, the Pima County Sheriff's Department has made it clear that none of the Guthrie family members are suspects in the case, but public interest in Tommaso, his past, as well as his associates has continued.

What to know about Tommaso Cioni's band

Tommaso Cioni's band name was Early Black. The members included Tommaso Cioni on bass and vocals, Dominic Evans on drums, and Walter I. Gonçalves Jr. on guitar and vocals, as per reports.

Due to the Nancy Guthrie investigation both Evans and Goncalves Jr were subjected to public speculation too, despite having no discernable links to the case. Tommaso Cioni's band's music has come under focus as well as the search for the octogenarian has continued.

‘Investigator’ gets chilling response about Nancy Guthrie

While trying to trace Tommaso Cioni's band's steps, JLR asked people around about the Nancy Guthrie case.

In the video, JLR could be heard saying that it's 'rumored' that Tommaso Cioni's band played at that location. He then asks a group some questions.

“Nancy Guthrie. Where is Nancy Guthrie?”, JLR asks. To this, a person in a cap appears to answer “She's done,” while a blond long-haired person says “It's a soup now.” The self-styled investigator then asked the group if they heard of Tommaso Cioni, but they replied in the negative.

The video from JLR is yet another example of how the Nancy Guthrie case has captured the attention of the nation, and has streamers and content creators on the ground trying to make sense and find answers as authorities continue to search for the missing woman.
