A 19-year-old man called Gabriel Thomas Castro has been missing from Cherokee County, Oklahoma. Castro was last seen on August 6, 2026.
The Facebook page Missing & Murdered: Seeking Justice shared, “Gabriel told others that he was going to a friend’s house, but he never arrived at his destination. He may have been in the Caney Ridge area of Cherokee County. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance are not known.”
What we know about Gabriel Thomas Castro
Castro is described as a Cherokee male, 5’8” tall and weighing 158 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He is believed to have been wearing a black shirt and gray sweatpants when he disappeared.

“He may be traveling in a 2019 gray Dodge 1500 pickup truck. The vehicle has an external rollbar attachment and minor damage to the passenger-side rear quarter-panel. It bears Cherokee Nation tag AN6205,” the post said.

{{/usCountry}}It added, “Gabriel’s disappearance has been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) by the Cherokee Nation Marshal Service under NIC #M049018632 and case #2026-00034913.”
Cherokee Nation Marshal Service also posted about Castro on Facebook.
“Please help us locate 19-year-old Gabriel Thomas Castro! Anyone with information is asked to call the Cherokee Nation Marshal Service at 918-207-3800,” said the post.

Facebook users raised some points in the comment section. “Is there by chance a gps tracker in the truck?” one user asked. “Has his tag # been entered by police so the Flock cameras, (they read tag #’s) could be on the lookout? First thing I’d do! Pray he is found safe,” wrote another.
