DDCA to sell World T20 semis tickets from March 26

The Delhi and Districts Cricket Association (DDCA) announced earlier that it will host the World Twenty20 semi-final in New Delhi.

There was speculation that the World T20 semi-final, originally scheduled to be held here on March 30, may be shifted out of the capital as the DDCA’s plea to use the RP Mehra block was dismissed by the Delhi High Court on Tuesday.

The concerned block has not been given the required clearances by the South Delhi Municipal Corporation and the Archaeological Survey of India.

“All the doubts have been cleared now. The permission to allow the Mehra block has been given to us by the court till December 2017. We will make the tickets available online from March 26 through the site bookmyshow.com,” Chauhan said during the England vs Afghanistan match in New Delhi.
