At least 15 Hindu pilgrims were injured when the jeep they were travelling in skidded off and plunged 15 feet down the road on a highway in Nepal.
The accident took place in Pragatinagar on the East West Highway, 250 km west of Kathmandu, police said.

The 15 injured were admitted to Primary Health Care Centre in Dumkauli, they said.
The pilgrims were on their way to Maula Kalika temple in Gaidakot, a popular Hindu shrine in Nawalparasi district, when the accident occurred.
