Authorities say 50 people suffered minor injuries when on Tuesday a commuter train crashed into another train that was stopped at a station in a Rome suburb.

Officials of the commuter line said passengers were shaken up by the impact in the La Celsa station on Tuesday and were treated and released at local hospitals.

The line was reopened after two hours. Authorities are investigating the cause.
