We’re not sure if this is an altered image, but it seems fairly candid… and eerie. First shared on Twitter, and later picked up by 9gag.com, this image of a smiling couple has been spooking the internet.

While the reflection of the husband’s head is how it should be (according to science), there’s a reflection of a woman’s face instead of the back of her head. We doubt even weird science can explain that. Now, it’s unclear if the reflection is that of the woman pictured, but it doesn’t change the fact that this is a legitimately unsettling photograph. And if it is indeed an altered image, well played prankster!
