WASHINGTON: A new advertisement to be aired by the Clinton campaign this week portrays Republican nominee Donald Trump as a deeply divisive figure who mocks the disabled and incites supporters to violence.

The ad, which will be Clinton’s first for the general election, goes under the overarching theme captured in just two words — “Stronger-Together”— according to The New York Times.

It is to start airing form on Thursday but Trump is complaining already. He tweeted on Sunday morning ,“Clinton made a false ad about me where I was imitating a reporter GROVELING after he changed his story. I would NEVER mock disabled. Shame!”

Clinton campaign spokesman Nick Merrill shot back, also in a tweet: “It’s not false. You said it. In public. On camera.”

The twitter-fight sets up an eventful week in which Trump, as he said last week, will deliver a speech about “all the things that have taken place with the Clintons (both the husband and wife)”.
